SAVE THE DATE, Saturday February 18 at 6pm. This will be our anniversary dinner at Wings Etc. in Jackson. We skipped our dinner last year because we bought a rig. That was about all the celebrating I could do that year. We just skipped our Christmas party because we couldn’t seem to find an agreeable date. So this is it! Come, bring your family and let’s share in our CrossFit family fun.

Another fun thing to do is coming up as well in February, The Open! The 5 gyms in the area are getting together to celebrate this competition, without really competing with each other. We talked about having 10 participants, 2 from each gym, do the Open WOD on Saturday of each week at one of the participating gyms. We would have the competitors from each gym, and lots of cheerers, meet at the designated gym at maybe 4pm, do the wod in 2 heats and party (maybe) afterward. The first wod will be released on Feb.23 at 7pm. The gym owners will get together and decide which location is best suited for the wod and let everyone know on Friday morning. You will still be able to do the wod at your own gym on Friday and/or Monday and be judged also. Let’s have fun together as a larger CrossFit community.
